Tooth Extractions

Although our first goal is to always try to save your teeth, sometimes a tooth extraction may be recommended. When a tooth cannot be repaired or it is poorly positioned (such as an impacted wisdom tooth) an extraction is needed. Fear not, there are several ways to replace the missing teeth once removed if desired, and our staff will take the time to answer your questions while going over all the options that may be available to you.

Dental Implants

A dental implant is often the ideal way to replace a missing tooth. It looks, functions, and feels just like a natural tooth. First, a metal anchor is placed into the jaw. Following the initial procedure, the bone integrates around the implant after a few months’ time. The implant acts as a tooth root and a crown can be attached to fill in the missing space.
