Brian Riegel DDS

Dr. Brian Riegel was born and raised in Woodbury, MN. He attended Creighton University in Omaha, NE and graduated with a major in biology and a minor in public health/health administration and policy. Dr. Riegel then returned ‘home’ to complete his dental education at the University of Minnesota, graduating in 2022.

Since graduation, Dr. Riegel has practiced at a community dental clinic in Alexandria, MN, caring for uninsured/low income patients. He has used this opportunity to grow his skills in dental emergency treatment, expansive restorative work, and removable prosthodontics (i.e. dentures). More importantly, he has gained invaluable experience in empathetically treating patients from all backgrounds.

Dr. Riegel is dedicated to working continuously towards furthering his dental knowledge and ability to help patients. He has completed advanced continuing education courses in Invisalign orthodontics, non-invasive pediatric dental treatment, and obstructive sleep apnea appliances. He takes pride in the numerous cutting-edge dental technologies that LifeSmiles has available for everyday use.

Dr. Riegel’s practice philosophy is based on mutual decision making and comfortability. He wants his patients to be fully aware of potential treatment options and what each entails before they are laid back in the chair. He understands the common frustrations and anxieties with the ‘unknown’ in the dental/medical fields, and wants to use clear communication to eliminate any of these fears for his patients.

Outside of the office, Dr. Riegel enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 kittens. Some of their favorite activities include walking/hiking, eating Mexican food, and helping coach youth basketball. They currently reside in Battle Lake, MN and love interacting in the local small town, lakes community.
